From dreamy landscapes and cartoony figures to punk pastiches, American artist M. Wright’s practice in painting, sculpture, and poetry is a universe of queer love. Her images are surreal and repetitive—portrayals of resignification expressed on reclaimed canvases and mementos sourced from Wright’s childhood and from NYC garbage.
